Which do you like better? The original, or the one from the movie?
I must say I personally love the one from the movie. :)

Did you miss me, good monsieurs?
I have written you an opera!"

Hmmm... this is hard! As much as I love the movie one, I think that I like the one from the original musical better! It looks more haunting and the movie one, like always, leaves too much of Gerard's face uncovered. LOL!
THE ONE FROM THE MOVIE!!!!
lol... two completely different opinions......
You know, this will lead to another debate, but I like the one from the movie because of how smug and self confident he seems... he really portrays that part of the Phantom really well....... :)
so why do you like the one from the movie, Eldarwen?
Hey I'm new here, but I guess you could say I'm a Phantom Phanatic! (book, movie, musical, music)
But anyway, I like both pictures, I agree with what tinydancer said about smugness, but I really like the original costume the mask and cloak.
hay, Clare!!! glad you found us! er... glad you found our blog... whatever. :)
so what do the rest of you think? WHY exactly do you like the ones you do?
Clare, it's wonderful to see you join us! It's always exciting to meet someone else who loves Phantom as much as I do!
I see what you mean about the smugness and I think that I agree. I think that the movie mask makes Erik look more dangerous and powerful and the musical one is more haunting, scary and creepy.
... and just plain weird........
i'm sorry, i hold nothing for the one in the musical...... *shrugs*
I like the movie one the best. it's the absolute best. like, really. it's the very best. umm... wow.
The other two look like they're trying to be threatening, but are failing drastically ;) hahahah!!
What I like about the movie one is that you can still see Erik's eyes and I like the black shadows that the mask casts on them.
lol...... rachael, exactly..... XD
cassie, me too!
Movie definitely! I don't like the creepy mask in the others....
